About Therapy Sessions

Everyone will feel low or worried at some point in their life and often these feelings will go away on their own. However for lots of different reasons, these feelings can persist, which can make day-to-day life challenging.

Working With Me

For children and young people, psychological difficulties can present themselves in a number of ways such as depression, anxiety, friendship issues, sleep problems, underperformance at school and/or attendance issues, behavioural difficulties such as anger and sometimes, self-harm, eating disorders or other risky behaviours.

This can result in day-to-day life filled with turmoil, conflict, feelings of loneliness, failure, or despair. This in turn, often leads to feeling stuck and worried about the future without knowing how to make things better.

I believe that we all deserve contentment and wellbeing in our lives and that nobody should face these difficulties alone. I offer a personalised approach and a confidential space to think about feelings and difficulties. Together, we will test new ideas and solutions in safe and managed ways with the aim of building resilience, self-esteem, and improving both psychological and emotional wellbeing.

I am committed to ensuring that the people I work with feel supported, respected, understood and in control of which direction therapy is heading in.
